Rockaway Beach Surf Workshop

This weekend Lava Girl Surf, New York's female specific surf school is hosting a great surfboard workshop at Rockaway Beach Surf Club. If you haven't been here to store your surfboard (in the hand-crafted board lockers), attend an event (surf movie screenings and, oh, biodegradable jello wrestling), or volunteered (RBSC was a hub for volunteering post Hurricane Sandy), you ought to check out this special spot.
