Fluro Friday in Rockaway

We recently met a rad Australian...who somehow ended up at a surf party in Brooklyn. We were keen, as they say, to learn about his non-profit One Wave, a non-profit focused on the regenerative, energizing and therapeutic power of surfing for anyone suffering from depression and other "funk" disorders.

"When you get out of the surf you're so much more open. You jump in the water, you come out, and you see the whole world and you're much more open...It's something that the ocean does to you, it's something that catching that one wave does."
