SanFran Cotton Romping

One down, two to go! Chipotle kicked off the annual Cultivate food and music festival in San Francisco, appropriately a hub of healthy and sustainable living.  As always, the Loomstate team was psyched to run the merchandise tent. We clothe Chipotle employees in organic cotton uniforms, so it only makes sense that we wrap up their festival goers too in burritoful tees, hoodies, aprons, and caps (see the collection).  Darcey, who oversees Loomstate private label partnerships, reviews the festivities and tastes of the day...

"Despite a truck breakdown, delaying our delivery of all the merchandise, the team jammed and we had our best sales to date at Cultivate Festival.  The weather was ridiculously foggy, cold and windy, still the music loving masses were showing up in gossamer dresses and lightweight summer threads. Lucky for them, we had a healthy supply of the infamously warm and soft Loomstate for Chipotle hoodies.

When not trying to keep warm, these patrons of the park were showing their love for burritos by purchasing a lot of the I Love Burritos Tees.  Some were inspired to head home and make some of their own burritos while wearing the extremely popular distressed Medallion Logo Apron. New to the merch line up was the Vapur collapsible water bottle, to be used at the new water refill stations around the festival.

Complete fluffy mayhem took place in the Kid's Zone as the cotton pit (yes, a pit of soft organic cotton to romp in...see below) exploded with laughter and cotton crazed kids all day long.

It also goes without saying that we all hit up the Shop House booth for their addictive rice bowls. Equally as addictive was the kale salad booth with esquites & tortilla chips. In the Artisans Hall the empanadas, brisket, popcicles and pie on a stick were deliciously distracting. I fell prey to the rosemary, cashew caramel corn (that paired perfectly with the summer Kolsch beer), and the homemade toffee made from an old family recipe. The Brewer's Hall Tasting Tent had Pilsner, Kolsch, IPAs and a very pretty pomegranate hard cider on tap.

Minneapolis is next and we can't wait!"
