From Rags to Rad

Remember our Loomstate for Barneys Recycled Poncho we made for the Winter? Our team went out to some of the biggest warehouses for second hand and donated goods, and found some amazing blankets in all different patterns and bright colors, perfect for a cozy poncho. We made them in NYC, using as much of each blanket as possible, but still there were scraps and remnants. Knowing that one day these colorful bits will be great for a project, we saved them.

Sarah Frances Kuhn, behind SFK Accessories & former Teen Vogue Accessories Editor, took them and turned them into these cheerful camera straps for the SFK + Loomstate collaboration, dubbed the "Tijuana" collection. Handmade with vintage industrial chains and salvaged blanket and rope, these straps can really brighten up an old camera or a grey tee and jeans day.

Check out this cheerful little guy!

It's like a party poncho for your camera!
