World AIDS Day

Today is World AIDS Day, one short day dedicated to raising awareness on the epidemic, prevention, treatments, and to address the numerous related social and political issues. Just this morning, our friends at Housing Works made a big statement by City Hall with their "Schmear" campaign (see bagel protestors below). It's also a time to commemorate those lost to AIDS.
