April is Earth Month - Tell us your Green stories!

April is Earth Month, which means organizations from national eco-friendly charities and food chains to college campuses and local markets are gearing up to raise "green awareness". To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22, auction house Christie's and NBC Universal have teamed up to hold "Green Auction: A Bid to Save the Earth". Image via Treehugger.com.

We don't all have celebrity budgets to bid at the auction, but we can all do our part to encourage others to be more environmentally friendly. A friend in Dallas, TX, has to drive 2 miles out of the city just to recycle, yet he still gathers his paper, glass, and plastic items every month for the trip.
